Rava laddu is a south Indian sweet made from semolina (Rava), sugar, ghee, cashew & cardamom, also known as suji laddu in other parts of India. This is usually made during the festival season and is a great gift. It is delicious, aromatic, and has a melt in your mouth with a slight crunch.
Traditionally, It is roasted in ghee until getting a light golden color. Many people use milk as one of the ingredients to make this recipe. But it is not a correct method to make traditional style. Ghee roasted cashew, Sugar, and roasted rava mix together with a pinch of green crushed cardamom. Then warm freshly melted ghee is added to this mixture and as soon it is added, quickly make a laddu. If it is cool down to room temperature, you cannot make laddu. You can only eat Rava Podi.
